This two-volume series of books are written on the memoirs of Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821), by Louis Antoine Fauvelet de Bourrienne (1769-1834). This antique book set was initially published in 1831. Bourrienne personally knew Napoleon having begun their relationship at the military training academy in Champagne as children.
